Professional services undertaken by Howard Jenkins includes advice in respect of Landlord & Tenant matters, particularly rent reviews and lease renewals; valuations, usually prepared in accordance with the RICS ‘Red Book’; together with a bespoke property management service.
A Selection of Previous & Current Involvements- Advising Cheltenham & Gloucester plc variously in respect of rent reviews, lease renewals and acquisitions of their branches and offices in Bedford, Bolton, Burnley, Durham, Glasgow, Leamington Spa, Leeds, Lincoln, Newcastle, Peterborough, Sunderland and York.
- Advising The University of York in vacating St Anthony’s Hall, Peasholme Green, York as part of the relocation of The Borthwick Institute and the negotiation of rent reviews upon student residences within their portfolio.
- Acting on behalf of Telereal in negotiating industrial ground rent reviews in Harehills and Seacroft, Leeds.
- Representing North London Waste Authority in negotiating compensation following the compulsory purchase for road widening purposes of land fronting their incinerator site at North Circular Road, Edmonton, London; the acquiring authority was Transport for London.
- Undertaking valuations for a number of charities, including Sustrans, for purposes of charity re-organistion and property disposal.
- Property management for private clients of a mixed office & retail investment in York City centre; the building extends to approximately 33,000 ft² and tenants include The City of York Council.
